Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated’s Teledyne Scientific Company is seeking a Buyer to purchase materials, equipment, and services in accordance with prescribed regulations. This is a temporary role with an estimated six-month commitment and citizenship is required for access.

Responsibilities include negotiating procurement actions, managing capital equipment, software licenses, and various contracts. Candidates should have at least two years’ purchasing experience, ERP familiarity

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ buyer experience.
• ERP experience with Costpoint/Deltek and Solumina desirable.
• Procurement of goods and services under regulated guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, award and administer procurement actions for commercial and government requirements.
• Handle capital equipment, software licenses, blankets, services, and maintenance contracts.
• Provide proposal support as required.
• Use ERP system for data tracking and reporting.
