Job summary

Catalyst Acoustics Group is seeking a Junior Buyer in Dublin, OH to assist in procuring goods and services, maintain records, and ensure timely delivery of materials. This role supports the purchasing team and contributes to Catalyst Acoustics Group growth.

The ideal candidate will apply market analysis, customer-driven product development, and promotional programs toward supporting medium- to long-range growth plans. Reports to Purchasing Manager.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in ERP systems and Kanban knowledge.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review MRP & Kanban signals, daily order report and MRD exceptions; obtain quotes and place POs; expedite to reduce shortages.
• Support Customer Service with inquiries; update production lead-times monthly.
• Work with Engineering and Sales on new product introductions; assist supplier selection and prototyping for production.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery, quality, cost containment, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Sales and Suppliers; review import entries per ISO 630P0012.
