Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1 year of purchasing or related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and data.
• Communicate with suppliers for product information, pricing, availability.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse.
• Resolve order discrepancies, returns, damaged goods.
• Conduct market research to identify suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Support Purchasing Manager in negotiating contracts and terms.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
