The Buyer II level will work to support production goals, optimize purchasing, and drive efficiencies. Strong negotiation, Excel and ERP skills are preferred, with growth potential into a Buyer role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2-3 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Ability to analyze purchasing data and make informed business decisions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Monitor inventory levels and support material forecasting activities.
• Expedite orders and ensure on-time delivery of materials.
• Investigate and resolve supply chain issues, quality concerns, and invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, vendor files, and pricing data.
• Generate purchasing reports and analyze supplier performance.
• Partner with production, engineering, operations, and finance teams to support business needs.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
