Qualifications

• Microsoft Office Experience Required.
• Understands specifications and blueprint reading.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with suppliers and other co-workers.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment in the performance of essential duties.
• 0- 5% Travel Required.
• Able to speak Mandarin or Korean is a big plus.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel a plus.
• SAP Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procure components, materials and equipment meeting demand while optimizing order quantities.
• Align product deliveries to minimize inventory while supporting production and service needs.
• Perform market research to identify vendors and assess capabilities.
• Manage qualification and implementation of products from new suppliers with internal teams.
• Negotiate cost reductions and ensure favorable terms using market data and technical understanding.
• Initiate projects to source parts and propose alternative designs or methods.
• Analyze cost data and perform variance analyses for price changes.
• Lead resolution of supplier-related quality, design or manufacturing issues with cross-functional support.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions where needed.
• Review key purchasing drivers and adjust to meet business needs.
