Job summary

Boise State University seeks a Business Analyst, Associate to collaborate with the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships to maximize the effective use of enterprise applications, financial aid systems, data, and technology.

You will analyze system issues, translate business needs into functional solutions, support testing and documentation, and coordinate with IT, vendors, and academic partners across the University.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
• Experience with SQL and Oracle databases.
• Proficiency in Excel or similar data-analysis tools.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, or scripting.
• Familiarity with enterprise applications or student information systems.
• Knowledge of software testing or quality assurance; process improvement.
• Higher education, financial aid, or regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support administration and operation of Oracle Student Financial Aid Cloud (SFA Cloud) and PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, diagnosing issues.
• Create queries and reports to analyze data and support solutions.
• Analyze system functionality, configurations, and data to identify causes and solutions.
• Participate in testing, upgrades, and regulatory releases; coordinate with stakeholders.
• Document requirements, support system changes, and improve processes.
