Job summary

Cadmus seeks a Junior Business Analyst to conduct user research, map current and future processes, and translate business needs into scalable system requirements. You will document user stories in JIRA and prepare software requirements for development teams in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS and 2-4 years of experience as a business analyst
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) & Scaled Agile delivery across multiple development teams
• Strong Agile knowledge, technical writing skills, data-driven analysis, and proficiency with collaboration tools
• Proven experience in creating development-ready Epics / Features and associated acceptance criteria including non-functional requirements
• Expertise in AI and automation technologies to support future-state process mapping, solutioning, and optimization opportunities
• Proficiency in collaboration/documentation tools (Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance (MBI)

Responsibilities

• Document current and future-state processes, identify efficiency opportunities, and partner with stakeholders to drive optimization
• Conduct User Research to create end-to-end process documentation
• Facilitate stakeholder collaboration to identify pain points and cost-effective system transformations
• Identify automation and digitization opportunities across site-level workflows
• Standardize processes with stakeholders
• Manage intake, prioritization, and onboarding of new functionality requests
• Ensure designs meet business needs while minimizing cost and complexity
• Map requirements to business value and downstream workflow impacts for development teams
• Act as gateway between business needs and system capabilities
• Document user stories in JIRA and support system documentation in release processes
