Basin Street Properties is seeking an Assistant Building Engineer I to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of commercial office buildings. Under the supervision of senior engineers, you will help keep HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems reliable while contributing to a safe, productive tenant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of facilities maintenance experience.
• Basic HVAC troubleshooting skills.
• Valid California driver’s license and ability to communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on commercial building systems.
• Assist with operation and monitoring of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Respond to tenant service requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure safe, quality work.
