Job summary

Integrated Medical Systems, Inc. is seeking a Biomedical Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repair, cleaning and testing of medical equipment at the Irving, TX facility.

This onsite role collaborates with the Biomedical Operations Manager to meet safety and quality standards and uses iQuest to document service activity. You will follow approved procedures, maintain device readiness, and contribute to the rental fleet’s readiness while adhering to ISO 13485 procedures and company

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training, technical coursework or relevant hands-on repair experience.
• Previous experience with medical equipment service, electronics troubleshooting, technical repair, or a closely related hands-on service environment.
• Ability to follow detailed written procedures, use common test equipment and tools safely, and document completed work accurately.
• Strong attention to detail, basic mechanical/electrical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturer-specific service procedures.
• Ability to organize work, recognize safety or quality concerns and communicate delays or findings to a supervisor.
• Comfort using a computer, service tracking system and digital work instructions to enter accurate device and work-order information.
• Ability to work onsite in Irving, TX, follow required safety practices and complete occasional training travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, cleaning, preventive maintenance and testing of supported medical equipment.
• Complete work orders in iQuest with identifiers, findings, labor and parts.
• Follow manufacturer manuals and testing methods and document standards.
• Manage work to IMS turnaround expectations and communicate delays or parts needs.
• Inspect condition of service parts and test equipment and report missing materials or miscalibration.
