Responsibilities

• Maintains, tests, and calibrates basic diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment.
• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance according to departmental guidelines and standards.
• Documents all maintenance actions and uses MEMS database; completes paperwork within two days.
• Assists higher-level BMETs on more complex issues as needed.
• Ensures operator and patient safety by verifying proper equipment performance.
