Job summary

QPS, LLC in Newark, DE is seeking an Associate Scientist I in the Bioanalytical department. This full-time role involves supervised training, sample preparation, and analysis of drug and metabolites in biological samples under GLP regulations.

Responsibilities include performing routine lab operations, assisting in quantitative LC-MS analyses, documenting results, and performing basic calculations. This position is 100% office/facility based in Newark, Delaware.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will hold a degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related scientific discipline.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lab operations, such as sample extraction, preparing reagents, operating automatic liquid handling equipment, pipetting, weighing, monitoring, and recording, in a neat/clean manner.
• Assist Principal Investigator in performing quantitative analysis of drug and metabolites in biological samples utilizing validated LC-MS/MS methods under GLP regulations.
• Document experiment details, calculations, results and observations in accordance with GLPs and SOPs.
• Basic math skills to perform routine calculations.
