Job summary

Snap-on in Libertyville, IL is seeking a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst to support enterprise reporting and data integration solutions. The role focuses on SAP Business Objects reporting, monitoring SAP Data Services jobs, ETL tasks, and data quality checks to ensure timely reporting and reliable operations.

You will translate business requirements into reporting solutions, work with data warehouses, and support nightly schedules.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
Experience with SAP Business Objects WebI Reporting and Universe design or similar reporting tools.
Proficiency in SQL and exposure to relational database architectures (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, SAP HANA).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain SAP BO reports (WebI) and Universe designs.
Monitor report schedules and troubleshoot basic delivery issues.
Monitor SAP Data Services ETL jobs and escalate issues as needed.
Assist ETL development tasks, testing, and validation of ETL changes.
Perform routine data quality checks using established processes.
Collaborate with business users to translate requirements into reporting solutions.
Test and troubleshoot reports, update schedules, and grant report access.
Document report logic, job processes, and issue resolutions.
