Job summary

Index Analytics, LLC in Baltimore seeks a Junior BI Developer to support enterprise reporting using SAP BusinessObjects, SQL, and related analytics tools. You will assist with report and universe development, validate queries, and document logic under guidance of senior engineers.

This role provides hands-on experience across the reporting lifecycle, from requirements to deployment, while collaborating with data teams and stakeholders in a federal client environment.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Master’s degree required; PhD preferred; six years of experience or equivalent.
• Strong experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, and NLP.
• Proven expertise with transformer-based models, embeddings, and semantic search.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered apps, RAG architecture, and AWS environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain machine learning and deep learning models, including traditional and neural networks.
• Build and deploy ML pipelines on AWS for scalable training, evaluation, and inference.
• Develop NLP solutions for text classification, entity recognition, topic modeling, and semantic search.
• Design, build, and productionize RAG systems and knowledge graphs for advanced search.
• Develop LLM-powered applications with prompt engineering and evaluation frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver analytics solutions.
• Support CMS-related healthcare analytics projects and dashboards.
