This entry-level role develops technical and commercial expertise in Building Automation, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and estimating teams to ensure precise data and outcomes.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED.
1+ years of experience in Building Automation (BAS), HVAC, Controls, Industrial Automation, or related engineering.

Responsibilities

Assist senior estimators in gathering data and developing foundational cost estimates for hardware, software, and labor.
Review project documentation to identify basic requirements from schematics, blueprints, and bid documents.
Draft proposals and scope letters using established templates and guidelines.
Coordinate vendor quotes; solicit pricing and track documents for the team.
Maintain estimating databases and CRM data with accurate pricing and project status.
