Loka is a globally distributed tech consultancy that operates entirely remotely. We are seeking a backend developer to build APIs, serverless components, queues, and data stores with guidance from senior engineers.

You will participate in design discussions, ask questions, and share ideas while applying security and data-protection practices daily. This role suits someone with 1–2 years of backend experience, fluent in Python or Node.js (TypeScript), and familiar with API protocols like OpenAPI

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Python or Node.js (TypeScript).
• Understanding of API/Web protocols such as OpenAPI and gRPC.
• Comfort with a fully remote, globally distributed team.
