Sun Auto Tire & Service in Paducah, KY is seeking a Junior Automotive Technician to assist with basic diagnostic and repair tasks, including oil changes, tire work, and light maintenance. You will document vehicle conditions using multi-point inspections and follow safety guidelines.

The role requires at least 2 years of technician experience, a current driver's license, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of previous automotive technician experience.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics.
• Current, valid Driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to obtain a State Inspector License (in applicable locations) is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic mechanical repairs based on level of experience.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes, fluid changes and power flushes and other basic services.
• Documents vehicle condition using the Multi-point Inspection and Repair Order.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections (in applicable locations) following guidelines.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
• Adheres to Sun Auto's core values and policies.
• Works flexible schedules, including weekends as needed.
