Job summary

GTN Technical Staffing seeks a Junior Quality Engineer for a Dallas–Fort Worth area manufacturing team. The role targets early-career engineers with 1–2 years in quality or manufacturing, holding a Bachelor's in engineering, and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.

Experience in automotive manufacturing or automotive quality systems is highly preferred. You will support QA activities, conduct root cause analysis, and help drive continuous improvement across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical/industrial/manufacturing).
• 1-2 years of experience in quality or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of basic quality tools and problem-solving methods.

Responsibilities

• Support QA activities across manufacturing operations.
• Investigate quality issues and assist with root cause analysis.
• Prepare 8D reports and coordinate with HQ and suppliers.
• Communicate quality concerns with internal teams and suppliers.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain quality documentation and records.
• Support audits and supplier quality requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Assist with inspections, measurement methods, and process improvements.
• Participate in new product launches and process validation.
