Job summary

Techtronic Cordless GP- TTIPE, a world leader in power tools and cordless technology, seeks an Automation Engineering Specialist 1 to support product development by building test systems and automating product testing.

You will design mechanical and electrical solutions, generate CAD parts, perform basic PLC/robot programming, and troubleshoot test setups in a cross-functional team environment.

Qualifications

• AS degree preferred in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar field.
• Basic lab and test equipment experience listed in responsibilities.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and document findings.

Responsibilities

• Contribute effectively as a member of a cross-functional team.
• Beginner in the use of typical lab equipment and instrumentation.
• Assemble mechanical and electrical systems.
• Perform basic machining and electronics understanding.
• Support wiring, fixture assembly, and test system builds.
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and controls issues.
• Basic CAD knowledge in SolidWorks or NX.
• Basic PLC and HMI programming with NI/AB/Click/Mitsubishi.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical reports.
