Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or Automation Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1+ years of manufacturing experience as a controls engineer or equivalent.
• Intermediate analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of time to customer sites, manufacturing facilities, and vendor locations.

Responsibilities

• Design intermediate level control systems and automation solutions for NA plants.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure system compatibility.
• Write, test, and debug PLC/DCS/MES/SCADA control logic per IEC61131-3 and HDNA standards.
• Validate FAT and SAT checklists; support startup activities and handover.
• Train plant personnel on deployed automation technologies and ensure adoption.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues; analyze data for process improvements.
• Create comprehensive project documentation, including wiring diagrams and BOMs.
