Hunter Douglas is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement intermediate level automation solutions across NA plants. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, IT, and Maintenance to identify opportunities, define technical requirements, and ensure seamless integration of equipment and controls into new processes.

The role emphasizes FAT/SAT validation, training, and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation or equivalent.
• At least 1+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment as a controls engineer or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% (domestic and international).

Responsabilidades

• Design intermediate level control systems and automation solutions.
• Program PLCs and robotics; validate FAT/SAT tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with IT, CI, Operations, and Maintenance.
• Develop HMI programs and ensure data acquisition and machine connectivity.
• Train plant personnel on deployed automation technologies.
