Job summary

KPI Solutions is seeking an Entry-Level AutoCAD Designer to create accurate 2D warehouse storage layouts and rack installation drawings. You will design Selective Pallet Rack, Push Back, Drive-In, Pallet Flow, and Rack Modules while aligning with customer specs and company drafting standards.

The role is ideal for recent graduates or those starting a drafting or warehouse storage design career, with opportunities to learn from an experienced team and to work on diverse racking projects.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or diploma in drafting/ CAD technology or related field.
• 0–2 years AutoCAD drafting or design experience; internship or project work accepted.
• Experience with warehouse racking systems is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for warehouse racking systems.
• Design warehouse layouts based on customer floor plans and project requirements.
• Create rack elevations, plan views, sections, and installation drawings.
• Produce layouts for Selective Pallet Rack, Push Back Rack, Drive-In Rack, Pallet Flow Rack, and Rack Modules.
• Modify drawings based on revisions and ensure compliance with standards.
• Verify dimensions, rack capacities, aisle widths, and storage configurations.
• Generate BOMs and drawing packages for manufacturing and installation.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, project managers, and estimation teams.
