Job summary

United Auto Credit Corporation is seeking a Junior Underwriter to turn approvals into contracts by calling dealership partners on applications approved or conditionally approved through our automated decisioning process. You will assess risk, provide solutions, and aim to capture the contract while upholding our common-sense lending approach.

You will build strong dealer relationships over the phone, deliver outstanding service, and collaborate with Funding and Sales teams to keep deals moving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Auto finance or financial services experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Close the loop by calling dealership partners to rehash approvals and capture the contract while assessing risk.
• Match the right fit by ensuring contracts meet program specifications or counteroffer to evaluate risk and pricing.
• Build dealer relationships and collaborate with Area Managers and Sales/Marketing teams.
• Explain credit decisions clearly to dealers, helping them understand our approach and build confidence in the partnership.
