Job summary

Plaza Tire Service in Conway is seeking a Junior Automotive Technician for a new location. You will perform basic diagnostics, oil changes, tire services and light maintenance on vehicles to meet our standard of care.

The role requires hands-on mechanical work and adherence to safety policies. Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years in automotive tech, valid driver's license, and the ability to operate diagnostic equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of previous automotive technician experience.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics.
• Current, valid Driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• State Inspector License (in applicable locations) is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic mechanical repairs based on level of experience.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes, fluid changes and power flushes and other basic services.
• Utilizes the company’s Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order to properly document the vehicle condition.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections (in applicable locations) on vehicles in an ethical manner following all company and state guidelines.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to direct supervisor.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
