Gang & Associates, P.A. is a national niche law firm in the veterans' benefits field, adding full-time junior attorneys to its nationwide practice. You will represent disabled veterans and their survivors before RO, BVA, CAVC, and the Federal Circuit.

Mentoring from senior attorneys and a flexible remote/hybrid environment are offered. We seek attorneys with 1–3 years of experience in veterans law or related clerkships, a strong academic record, and a passion for helping veterans.

Qualifications

• One to three years of full-time experience representing veterans before RO/BVA/VCAV etc.
• Experience as VA Attorney for BVA or OGC Litigation Group VII is acceptable.
• One-year clerkship for a Judge of the US Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims is eligible.
• Strong academic and legal mind with a passion for veterans and survivors.
• Excellent organization, tech skills, and fast learning ability.
• Track record of strong docket management and good work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Represent disabled veterans and survivors in compensation claims nationwide.
• Advise clients before RO, BVA, US Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, and Federal Circuit.
• Engage in research, drafting, and oral advocacy as needed.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to mentor junior staff and manage cases.

In this role you will be representing disabled veterans and their survivors in all compensation claims nationwide before the Regional Offices, Board of Veterans Appeals, the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Requirements for Junior Attorney Hire

1. One of the following criteria must apply:

• One to three years of full-time experience with substantive exposure representing a significant number of veterans before the Regional Offices, the Board of Veterans Appeals, or the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims; or:
• One to three years of full-time experience as an attorney for the Board of Veterans Appeals or the VA Office of General Counsel, Litigation Group VII; or:
• A one-year clerkship for a Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
