Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Associate Attorney - Veteran Affairs in Concord, NH. The Staff Attorney will deliver legal advice and advocacy to Veterans facing homelessness and related wellbeing issues, working with a committed team.

Candidates should hold a J.D. and be licensed in NH or able to obtain eligibility within a year, with 5–8 years in litigation or legal advising and a passion for service-oriented law practice.

Qualifications

• J.D. required and licensed to practice in NH or able to obtain licensure within 12 months.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in litigation, client representation, or legal advising.
• Experience working with Veterans or issues such as homelessness, health, income, or safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice, guidance, and counsel to Veterans facing homelessness and related challenges.
• Develop case strategy, represent clients in court or negotiations, and advocate for client needs.
• Collaborate with a mission-driven team to advance access to legal services in the community.

Staff Attorney - Veteran Affairs:

The Staff Attorney will provide legal advice, guidance, and counsel to Veteran's facing homelessness, struggling with income, and overall well being.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.)
• Active NH Law License or ability to gain license within 1 year
• Must have 5-8 years experience in litigation, client representation or legal advising
• * Experience working along side Veteran's or dealing with Veteran issues such as homelessness, health, income, safety, etc.
