Job summary

Halliburton seeks an Associate Accountant to learn the Company’s financial and accounting systems, processes, policies, and procedures under direct supervision. This developmental role exposes you to many aspects of accounting, financial analysis, and reporting, with structured learning and progress over time.

You will support basic reconciliations, journal vouchers, and data gathering for reports, with compensation up to $80,000 per year depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting; no prior accounting experience required.
• Candidates with degrees in other fields must have at least 18 hours of accounting coursework.

Responsibilities

• Learns and prepares basic account reconciliations.
• Learns organizational structure of the Company.
• Prepares and posts journal vouchers including consolidations and eliminations.
• Researches and resolves basic accounting issues and transactions.
• Gathers financial information for report preparation.
• Role is developmental and exposes incumbents to many aspects of accounting, financial analysis and reporting.
