Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an Associate Attorney with strong legal research and writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn and take on increasing responsibility.

You will work with experienced attorneys and staff on litigation and transactional matters across trusts & estates, business law, and other areas. The role involves researching, drafting pleadings and contracts, preparing for hearings and depositions, client communication, and supporting attorneys

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in the applicable state or eligibility for admission.
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Professional judgment, integrity, and discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and other legal authorities.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, memoranda, contracts, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • Assist with case preparation, discovery, depositions, hearings, negotiations, and trials as applicable.
  • Review and analyze documents, evidence, contracts, and other relevant materials.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, government agencies, and other parties.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and meet applicable deadlines.
  • Assist senior attorneys with strategy, case management, and client matters.

Role:

The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and writing skills, sound judgment, excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.

The Associate Attorney will work closely with experienced attorneys and firm staff on a variety of legal matters, including legal research, drafting pleadings and correspondence, preparing for hearings and depositions, communicating with clients, and supporting attorneys throughout the litigation or transactional process.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and other legal authorities.

Compensation:

$80-100k+ depending on experience
