A legal firm based in Albany is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-8 years of legal experience, including at least 2 years in litigation. You will assist lead attorneys with various aspects of litigation, including research, drafting documents, and court presentations. A Juris Doctor degree and admission to practice law in New York are required. This position offers a competitive salary between $140k to $180k along with full benefits, flexible schedules, and paid vacation.

We are a growing firm, looking for an Associate Attorney to join our team. Specifically, we are looking for someone who has 2-8 years of experience, with previous 2+ years of litigation experience.

Requirements:

• 2-8 years of experience
• 2+ years of litigation experience
• Prior experience in one of the following practice areas: Commercial Real Estate, Corporate Law, Healthcare, Insurance, Labor & Employment
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in New York

Responsibilities:

• Assist lead attorneys in handling all aspects of litigation, including: research, writing, drafting pleadings and dispositive motions
• Drafting and answering discovery requests and discovery responses
• Participating in, or administering large document database management, review and coding, and document production when needed on complex cases
• Preparing for, taking and/or participating in depositions
• Presenting motions and arguments in court

The annual salary for this position is between 140k-180k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
