Elgen Staffing's client, a prestigious nationwide law firm, seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join their Melville office. The attorney will handle contested and litigated matters and contribute to New York Commercial Foreclosure litigation.

The candidate should have at least 4 years of litigation experience, be admitted to the New York Bar, and be proficient in drafting pleadings and legal documents; willingness to travel across New York is required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree with a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Must reside in New York.
• Minimum of 4 years of litigation/courtroom experience. Foreclosure experience a plus.
• Member of the New York Bar while maintaining all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements.
• Proficiency in drafting pleadings, briefs, affidavits, discovery, proposed orders, and correspondence.
• Proficiency with Fastcase or Westlaw.

Our client, a prestigious, nationwide, law firm dedicated to providing legal services to financial institutions, has an immediate need for an experienced Associate Attorney, to join their winning team in Melville.

Our candidate of choice will be responsible for handling contested/litigated matters for the Firm. Additionally, you will handle a portion of New York Commercial Foreclosure litigation while utilizing legal knowledge and experience as necessary to facilitate the litigation process on behalf of our clients in New York.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attend trials and hearings.
• Taking and defending depositions.
• Must be willing to travel throughout the entire state of New York on an as needed basis.
• May be required to attend hearings, mediations and other duties as assigned.
• Assist with other duties and special projects as needed

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
