ZGF Architects LLP in Seattle is seeking an Entry Level Architect to join our Architectural Group. You will work under experienced staff on diverse projects, from concept design through construction administration, producing drawings, documents, and modeling while growing your design skills.

We value creativity, motivation, and curiosity, and offer mentoring and a collaborative environment in our Seattle office. This role emphasizes graphic storytelling and communication across media.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of architectural design and construction principles.
• A strong interest in graphic storytelling.
• A professional Architectural degree and 0-2 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with modeling in Revit.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Rhino or other parametric design software.
• What we do is all about design – good communication and graphic skills with modeling and rendering ability are desired.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a community focused on design excellence and innovation.
• Collaborate with the design team for generating and developing design ideas.
• Work on projects from concept design through construction administration.
• Produce design drawings, construction documents, presentation drawings, graphics, and modeling for Architecture, Urban Design and Interior Design.
• Help tell the story of our projects through various media.
• Work under design supervision and receive instruction and mentoring.
• Perform fundamental architectural tasks and collaborate toward design solutions.
