Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen and continuously improve the security posture of applications within our platform. You will integrate security into the development lifecycle, automate controls, and guide secure remediation across teams.

Responsibilities include embedding controls in CI/CD, threat modeling, architecture reviews, and building SOAR/analytics pilots while collaborating with global application teams to raise the bar on security practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Security Engineering or DevSecOps in large orgs.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools, cloud security, and SAST/SCA/DAST.
• Experience with Terraform/Ansible/Python for automation.
• Familiar with OWASP/NIST/CIS benchmarks and secure design.

Responsibilities

• Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines and automate securit y checks.
• Perform threat modeling, architecture reviews, and secure remediation guidance.
• Lead security patterns for pipelines and SOAR/SOA platforms.
• Collaborate with application teams to adopt secure coding practices.
• Promote shift-left security across the SDLC and ensure governance.
• Communicate complex security concepts clearly to stakeholders.
