Chemistry Rx is seeking a Junior Analytics Engineer to join our data team. In this role, you’ll help transform raw data into clean, structured datasets that drive decision-making across the organization. This role reports to the Senior Data Engineer and works closely with them to develop data models, build dashboards, and contribute to our analytics codebase.

Responsibilities

• Transform raw data into clean, structured datasets using SQL.
• Design data models to support reporting and analytics.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards.
• Assist the engineering team with pipeline maintenance, troubleshooting, and refactoring initiatives.
• Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to understand data needs.
• Perform data cleansing and standardization to ensure accuracy and usability of datasets.
• Support ad hoc analysis to help business leaders answer key operational questions.
• Contribute production-quality analytics code that follows version control and software development best practices.
• Follow company data protocols and HIPAA requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write clean and scalable queries for transforming data.
• Understanding of data modeling principles for analytics.
• Prior experience in a data-related role.
• Comfortable reasoning through data transformation logic independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Power BI for dashboard development.
• Experience with Python, especially for data transformation. Familiarity with the Polars library is a plus.
• Experience using Git.
• Familiarity with modern data stack components and cloud platforms.
• Exposure to working with HIPAA-regulated data.
• 2+ years of professional experience.
• Prior experience as a Data Analyst is a plus.
