About the Role

Chemistry Rx is seeking a Junior Analytics Engineer to join our data team. In this role, you’ll help transform raw data into clean, structured datasets that drive decision‑making across the organization. This role reports to the Senior Data Engineer and works closely with them to develop data models, build dashboards, and contribute to our analytics codebase.

Responsibilities

• Transform raw data into clean, structured datasets using SQL.
• Design data models to support reporting and analytics.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards.
• Assist the engineering team with pipeline maintenance, troubleshooting, and refactoring initiatives.
• Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to understand data needs.
• Perform data cleansing and standardization to ensure accuracy and usability of datasets.
• Support ad hoc analysis to help business leaders answer key operational questions.
• Contribute production‑quality analytics code that follows version control and software‑development best practices.
• Follow company data protocols and HIPAA requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write clean and scalable queries for transforming data.
• Understanding of data modeling principles for analytics.
• Prior experience in a data‑related role.
• Comfortable reasoning through data transformation logic independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Power BI for dashboard development.
• Experience with Python, especially for data transformation. Familiarity with the Polars library is a plus.
• Experience using Git.
• Familiarity with modern data stack components and cloud platforms.
• Exposure to working with HIPAA‑regulated data.
• 2+ years of professional experience.
• Prior experience as a Data Analyst is a plus.
