Adesis Inc. seeks an analytical chemist or research scientist to characterize pharmaceutical and polymer materials, intermediates, and final compounds in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or related field or MS with 2–5 years pharma industry exp.
• Proven mass spectroscopy and chromatography expertise to solve analytical problems (HPLC, LC/MS, GC/MS).
• Strong understanding of instrument hardware/software and calibration procedures.
• Collaborative, independent worker able to deliver on complex objectives.
• Demonstrated scientific communication through publications, patents, or presentations.
• Experience in LCMS, GCMS, Headspace GC, Chiral LC, XRPD, DSC, TGA and GPC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze samples using HPLC, UPLC, Chiral LC, GC, GC/MS.
• Perform NMR analysis and data processing.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical instruments.
• Document analytical work per procedures and compile data packages.
• Review data, report results, and support projects in development and manufacturing.
• Train new chemists on analytical equipment.
