Job summary

AVCON, INC. is seeking an Engineer, Airfield Lighting to assist in planning and design for airfield lighting projects including runways, taxiways, and signage. The role supports airport systems, security, and ramp lighting within a collaborative design team.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 0-2 years' experience, with working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office applications. Some site observation may be required and occasional overtime could occur.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares project layouts and construction plans; assists in various design elements with clear objectives.
• Assists in preparation and maintenance of project documentation including plans, specifications, and engineer estimates.
• Assists in evaluating and adapting standard techniques to project assignments; solves problems with guidance.
• Plans and coordinates detailed aspects of engineering work across multiple projects to meet budget and deadlines.
• Assists in preparation of project scopes, tasks, budgets, schedules, specifications, and engineering reports.
