Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Aviation Electrical Engineer to plan, design, and review airfield lighting and navigational systems. You will work with a team of engineers and project managers to deliver electrical infrastructure for large-scale aviation projects.

The role requires a BSEE, PE license, and at least 5 years of aviation electrical experience. Proficiency in Civil 3D and Microsoft Office is preferred, with on-site construction support and site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.
• 5+ years of aviation electrical engineering experience with airfield lighting and navigational aids.
• Understanding FAA Advisory Circulars and UFC criteria.
• Construction support including RFIs, submittals and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and review airfield lighting and navigational aids.
• Perform electrical design tasks to assist project managers.
• Prepare bidding documents, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Oversee construction-related tasks and on-site observation.
