Zusammenfassung

Leidos is seeking Software Developers to join the Air Traffic Business Area within the Homeland Sector, supporting the FAA modernization efforts with cloud-native flight service systems. The role operates in a Scaled Agile/SAFe environment with cross-functional teams and DevSecOps integration.

You will design and implement containerized applications, work closely with systems engineering, product delivery, and DevSecOps teams, and contribute to mission-critical, safety-critical aviation software

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Java.
• Experience with React.
• Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Experience with Linux.
• Experience with Git or Subversion.
• Experience with IDEs (Eclipse, VS Code).
• Knowledge of AI-assisted software development tools (Claude Code, Codex).
• Knowledge of Cloud-based systems.
• Knowledge of unit testing tools (JUnit, Mockito).
• Understanding of sound software development principles.
• Ability to plan and communicate effectively.
• Independent thinker able to work in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to obtain SF-85 Public Trust suitability.
• US citizenship required.

Aufgaben

• Write, test, and maintain source code within an Agile environment.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and planning.
• Write and execute unit and functional tests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in lab and operational environments.
• Provide support for system engineering and DevSecOps teams.
