Job summary

The Phoenix Group is seeking a Junior AI Specialist to assist in evaluating, testing, and deploying generative AI solutions across legal and business functions. You will support AI pilots, prompt testing, workflow documentation, and user adoption within a dynamic corporate setting.

Responsibilities include developing prompts, organizing test cases, maintaining documentation, and assisting in low-code project work for contract review, legal research, and matter intake.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; 1–2 years of post-college experience preferred.
• Foundational experience with generative AI tools, prompt creation, workflow documentation, and supporting tech-enabled projects.
• Familiarity with legal technology platforms, document management, or data handling systems; knowledge of Westlaw/LexisNexis/iManage is a plus.
• Technical proficiency with productivity software and AI platforms; ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Clear and organized written and verbal communication; ability to explain AI concepts and document findings professionally.
• Ability to handle sensitive data responsibly and maintain confidentiality in legal/professional services environments.

Responsibilities

• Observe and analyze workflows to identify AI integration opportunities.
• Develop, test, and refine prompts for legal and operational use cases.
• Assist in executing AI pilots; organize test cases, record results, and escalate issues.
• Maintain documentation of prompts,Testing outcomes, limitations, and use cases.
• Collaborate on lightweight AI apps and workflow automation tools for contract review, legal research, and matter intake.
• Support design and implementation of legal/back-office apps via low-code/no-code platforms.
• Assist project planning with schedules, notes, and status updates; coordinate with teams.
• Serve as primary end-user contact for AI support; deliver training and user guides.
• Organize firm-wide AI events, manage logistics, and track participation.
• Manage AI content databases including permissions and troubleshooting in CMS.
