Visionist Inc. seeks a Junior Software Engineer focused on AI to join our TS/SCI program in the Columbia, MD area.

You will develop agentic Python integrations leveraging multiple AI models, APIs, and data sources in production, building agentic workflows with modern frameworks such as PydanticAI, LangGraph, and DeepAgents. You will collaborate with mission stakeholders to gather requirements, develop effective technical solutions, and test workflows with our software engineers to ensure robust

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience substitute
• 3 years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency with Python handling JSON and REST APIs
• Experience using HTTP-based APIs for data access
• Familiarity with AI development concepts including prompt engineering and tool calling
• Experience with Git and Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence)
• Ability to present data analyses to customers

Responsabilidades

• Develop agentic integrations with Python leveraging multiple AI models and data sources
• Build tools/workflows using frameworks such as PydanticAI, LangGraph, and DeepAgents
• Collaborate with mission stakeholders to gather requirements and create technical solutions
• Navigate customer data types to extract relevant information
• Work with engineers to test workflows, identify issues, and propose solutions
