Job summary

Visionist Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with active TS/SCI clearance to join our team on a funded mission-critical contract in the United States.

The role focuses on designing AI-driven workflows, developing Python-based automation, and delivering secure software solutions for mission operations. Our environment emphasizes collaboration with analysts, policy makers, and leadership while maintaining a strong ownership culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; 12 years of software experience may substitute.
• 12 years of experience in software development.
• Experience leveraging LLMs and prompt engineering to solve complex problems.
• Strong Python development and API/orchestration experience; familiarity with open-source tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy agentic AI workflows that leverage autonomous planning and tool use to streamline operations and improve system efficiency.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows using Python.
• Conduct vulnerability analysis and research.
• Develop and document technical tradecraft.
• Execute customer requests and deliver mission solutions.
• Engage with customers to gather requirements and provide support.
