Job summary
US staffing Inc. seeks a Junior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team supporting the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The role focuses on AI-enabled cloud automation, building secure CI/CD pipelines, and implementing infrastructure-as-code in a hybrid environment with on-site training after offer. The candidate should have 3+ years of DevOps/DevSecOps experience, strong AWS and IaC skills, and be eligible for a public trust clearance.
Qualifications
- 3+ years DevOps/DevSecOps engineering experience
- Hands-on AWS and infrastructure-as-code using CDK/CloudFormation
- Experience with CI/CD tooling and security automation
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash or similar
- Strong communication/presentation skills
- Ability to prioritize and self-start
- Adaptability/flexibility
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- U.S. Citizen
- Ability to satisfy required background/clearance requirements
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild
- Implement infrastructure-as-code using AWS CDK/CloudFormation
- Integrate SAST/DAST/SCA and policy-as-code into pipelines
- Automate compliance evidence for FedRAMP/NIST controls
- Support environment provisioning and deployment automation including blue/green and canary
- Embed AI-assisted tooling for scanning, testing and pipeline authoring
- Monitor pipeline health and improve delivery metrics
