Job summary

Decision Technologies, Inc. seeks a Junior Mechanical Engineer (Aerospace) to analyze supersonic aerodynamics, launcher motion, and thermal loading for Navy hardware. You will work with senior engineers, apply CAD tools and FEA/CFD, and contribute to live fleet deployment.

This on-site role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, with duties ranging from 3D modeling to system integration on U.S. Navy platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics, or related field; recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• Foundational experience with 3D CAD modeling and simulation tools (FEA/CFD, MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS).
• Must be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• 3D CAD Modeling & Digital Prototyping for missile airframes and shipboard interfaces.
• Support launcher kinematics, robotic motion dynamics, and multi-axis analysis.
• Assess aerodynamics, flight dynamics, and thermals with CFD/FEA tools.
• Perform thermal and structural analyses for harsh marine environments.
• Assist shipboard integration and live test activities.
• Review design packages, ECPs, and ICDs for mechanical hardware changes.
