Job description

Imagineeer is seeking a Change Management Lead to own organizational change management on an acquisition transformation engagement for a federal civilian department. Change management is a contract requirement from day one, not an add-on at implementation.

You will own the change methodology, co-author the Integrated Change Management, Training, and Configuration Management Plan within 20 business days of award, and own the adoption and change checkpoint in the firm’s decision methodology: will the workforce adopt the change, and what will it require of them?

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and apply a structured, recognized change management methodology covering stakeholder analysis, change impact and readiness assessment, communications planning, leadership and change-champion engagement, resistance management, and adoption measurement, beginning with the current-state assessment.
  • Co-author and maintain the Integrated Change Management, Training, and Configuration Management Plan, updating it with the Study Report and the Implementation Plan.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and workflow mapping with the Policy and Business Process Lead during the current-state assessment.
  • Lead the stakeholder analysis and change readiness assessment for acquisition staff, program office customers, approvers, and system administrators.
  • Document the workforce, role, and process impacts of eliminating, consolidating, or retaining each capability.
  • Onboard pilot participants, engage change champions, and establish feedback mechanisms with the Change Management Analyst.
  • Capture adoption measures for biweekly status reports and pilot performance reports, and report change management status in every status report.
  • Deliver change management materials and adoption metrics during implementation and supervise the Change Management Analyst.
  • Define change reinforcement for newly onboarded users as tools scale across the organization, for inclusion in the Continuation Roadmap.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, business, communications, or a related field.
  • 10 or more years of organizational change management experience, including leading change on at least two enterprise technology or process implementations.
  • Certification in a recognized change methodology, such as Prosci Certified Change Practitioner or ACMP Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP).
  • Experience conducting readiness assessments, stakeholder analyses, and change impact assessments and turning them into actionable plans.
  • Experience defining and reporting adoption metrics to senior leadership.
  • Ability to pass the client’s contractor security vetting and obtain and maintain a Public Trust credential.
Desired Skills and Competencies:
  • Experience leading change in federal agencies, ideally in acquisition, finance, or other operations functions.
  • Experience supporting technology pilots and phased rollouts where adoption data informs go/no-go decisions.
  • Master’s degree in organizational development or a related field.
