Job summary

Imagineeer is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to operate a contractor-provided cloud sandbox used for integration-testing commercial acquisition tools. You will keep the environment running, provision tool integrations and mock interfaces, and generate synthetic data for the pilot runs.

The role requires 5+ years of cloud engineering or DevOps experience, hands-on IaC, CI/CD, scripting, and familiarity with REST APIs and mock services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of cloud engineering or DevOps experience.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience building or consuming REST APIs and creating mock services.
• Experience operating environments under security baselines such as NIST SP 800-53.

You will keep the environment running, provision tool integrations and mock system-of-record interfaces, and generate the synthetic data the pilot runs on.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the sandbox environment day to day.
• Provision tool integrations and mock interfaces for the AMS/PRISM contract writing environment, FPDS-NG, and SAM.gov.
• Generate and manage synthetic and de-identified test data.
• Support configuration of pilot and production tools and keep infrastructure-as-code current.
• Support hosting assessments of candidate tools.
• Work with The contractor-provided sandbox in a FedRAMP-authorized cloud region, with mock AMS/PRISM, FPDS-NG, and SAM.gov interfaces and synthetic data
• Infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD tooling
• API mocking and synthetic data generation tools
