American National Bank Of Texa is seeking an Accounting Specialist to handle clerical and accounting duties within the accounting department. The role includes data entry for payables, reconciliations, vendor record maintenance, and filing in a bank environment.

• 0-2 years of general office, bookkeeping, or basic accounting experience.

Responsabilités

• Enters accounts payable/expense reports into accounting system.
• Performs account reconciliations for various accounts.
• Performs vendor account analysis and maintains vendor records.
• Updates and maintains accounting journals, ledgers, and other records detailing financial business transactions.
• Applies Sales and Use Tax method as required.
• Researches and resolves discrepancies.
• Ensures timely and accurate payment of invoices.
• Maintains an orderly filing system.
• Requires work on physical bank premises.
