Associa in Richardson, TX seeks an Accounting Analyst to join the Finance team. This entry-level role supports routine accounting activities including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and monthly close.

Under the Corporate Controller, you will learn systems, maintain financial records, and collaborate with cross-functional partners. This in-office position offers exposure to GAAP controls and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA desirable but not required.
• 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.

Responsabilités

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data across all ledgers.
• Manage all aspects of general ledger activity, including journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and adjustments.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances or unusual trends.
• Review GL activity for compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Partner with internal teams to validate data and ensure proper cutoff and period recognition.
• Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and standardize GL workflows.
