Job summary

Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Finance team at the Frederick, MD corporate office.

The role will process accounts payable, assist with payroll, and perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our financial records. As part of the Finance team, you will support the CEO with timely financial data, assist with grant reporting, budgeting, and payroll accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• At least two years of accounting and payroll experience.
• Advanced experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with an electronic medical record system preferred.
• Understanding of HIPAA privacy laws.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and vendor payments.
• Assist with payroll processing and reporting.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Ensure accuracy of general ledger entries and subledgers.
• Prepare weekly deposits and revenue reports for cash forecasting.
• Collaborate with CEO to provide timely financial data and reports.
