• Associate's degree in Business Administration (Accounting or Finance) or 1-3 years' non-profit accounting experience.
• Knowledge of general accounting, financial management, and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical background with ability to prepare concise financial reports.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily recording of bank transactions and journal entries (A/P, A/R, Cash Receipts) in MIP.
• Process accounts receivable and revenues from all sources.
• Assist with month-end close.
• Match grant billings to general ledger receivable/revenue.
• Run revenue/expenditure reports by grant monthly for grant accountants.
• Assist with year-end close and audits.
• Prepare monthly reports and maintain documentation.
• Maintain AP vendor lists and support reconciliations with Grants/Housing.
