Responsibilities

• Keeps fiscal records with varied accounting functions; examines, verifies, approves and screens fiscal documents and prepares trial balances.
• May supervise clerical staff; assigning, reviewing and training on ledger entries and payroll records.
• Prepares a variety of detailed factual and analytical accounting, statistical and narrative reports for the department.
• Prepares daily cash summary of cash receipts and classifies receipts by funds; maintains records for revenues.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
