Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN in Philadelphia is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, reconciliations, budgeting, and month-end close activities. The role is direct-hire with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office).

You will use Excel and accounting software to manage financial data and contribute to the preparation of accurate financial reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Accounting experience or relevant internship experience
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Support budgeting, financial reporting, and variance analysis
• Monitor expenditures and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Utilize Excel and accounting software to manage financial data
